Documenting a trio of tightly-knit concerts in Geneva (Cave 12), Eupen (Alter Schlachthof), & Copenhagen (Alice), this collection demonstrates, in exhaustive detail, the form & shape that this particular strain of Live Electronic Music has taken over the course of Summer, 2019.
Turning a new leaf & opting to perform almost exclusively in Quad (while the Geneva & CPH concerts were spatialized on-site, Eupen was a Quad sub-mix into a Stereo system) and while completely sober, these long-form melds on a newly implemented four-tier, 11-voice canon generator system (comprised of a sum total of 10 digital & 1 analog oscillator) were coupled with collated percussion data from Migos producer 808Godz as well as a vast library of General MIDI PCM, all convolved against a selection of carefully mined transients derived largely from recordings of the sculptures of Joep Van Lieshout.
Peppered by a series of asides (sketches made on airplanes on the Teenage Engineering OP-Z [an absolutely fantastic tool used throughout this music both in the studio & in concert] as well as interstitial & soundcheck materials [rife with errant saxophone soloing] this is an attempt to push forward with a series of quick, "warts-and-all" releases of the otherwise ephemeral music heard at these exact events, respectively, chronologically, that is the sum total of current musical activity.
